New Teacher Mentoring Project ‘on pause’ pending Ministry of Education funding
Over the last five years, the New Teacher Mentoring Project (NTMP) has implemented mentorship projects in support of teachers new to the profession, new to role, and new to your community. This has been fruitful work that has spawned the growth of sustainable responsive mentorship in 40 districts/locals across British Columbia.
The project and website updates will be ‘on pause’ for July and August 2017 awaiting approval of continued funding through the Ministry of Education.
The Provincial Mentorship Resource Team will remain available through September and October of the new school year, 2017 to provide ongoing support to districts building mentoring initiatives and facilitating mentoring workshops.
