A recent blog from educationtoday shows OECD research supporting the effectiveness of professional learning that is embedded in teacher’s work at school. The message is clear: prioritize professional development activities that take place in school settings and that are sustained, collaborative, and focused on problems of practice. These are the activities that have the most positive impact on classroom practices. This is the work of formalized mentoring partnerships.
